mcr PS collars provide fire resistance up to EI120 in walls and floors that meet the required thickness and density parameters. During a fire, the intumescent inserts expand, effectively sealing the opening left by the burned-out installation, ensuring reliable fire protection.
Classified up to EI120 when installed in rigid walls of at least 100 mm thickness. These may be made of concrete, reinforced concrete, aerated concrete, solid brick, hollow brick, or perforated block, with a minimum density of 600 kg/m³.
Can also be used in flexible walls of at least 100 mm thickness, constructed on a wooden or steel frame with a minimum of two layers of type F or DF gypsum plasterboards on each side (in accordance with EN 520).
Suitable for rigid floors of at least 150 mm thickness, made of concrete, reinforced concrete, or aerated concrete with a minimum density of 600 kg/m³. In case of fire, when the temperature exceeds 140°C, the intumescent inserts in the collar expand, sealing the opening after the burned-out installation.
