Zakład Szkuner
The Szkuner enterprise in Władysławowo, engaged in fishing and fish processing, was founded in 1955. To ensure the facility could continue to operate safely, the company’s President, Witold Wawrzonkoski, faced the challenge of modernizing and commissioning a fire alarm system in the production area, which until then had lacked fire protection.
Due to previous cooperation and the successful implementation of an ammonia detection system, we were chosen as the partner to bring the Szkuner plant in line with current requirements.
The need for a fire alarm system (SSP) in the production area arose from an inspection by the veterinary inspectorate and from the necessity to secure food production against potential hazards, such as falling elements onto the production line. The plant’s insurer also recommended the installation of smoke detectors in the ceiling void to prevent possible fire incidents.
We proposed an innovative wireless fire protection solution – MCR Fire – including a fire control panel, smoke detectors, manual call points, and sounders. The positively reviewed system was designed by a certified fire protection designer and signed off by a licensed fire safety expert.
“At the Szkuner port, we installed the wireless mcr FIRE fire alarm system consisting of a SMART control panel and integration with the mcr TECH SYSTEM. This is a fully certified solution by the Fire Research and Science Centre (CNBOP). In the event of a fire, it ensures a response that protects both lives and property, while immediately notifying responsible personnel within the company.” – Bartosz Bartczak, President of MCR Tech Lab
Quick and easy installation, the ability to carry out the work at a convenient time, and the lack of disruptive installation works on-site – all of this translates into a more cost-effective solution, making it one of the key advantages of this system.
