    mcr Polylack F is an intumescent paint based on flame retardants, carbon– and gas-forming additives, and an aqueous dispersion of synthetic resin.
  • Fire Action
    When exposed to high temperatures, it forms an insulating foamed carbon layer.
  • Protective Function
    This layer stops the combustion of the polymer insulation coating at an early stage and prevents the spread of flames across the protected installation surface.

Intumescent fireproof paint forming an insulating barrier 

mcr Polylack F is an intumescent paint made with flame retardants, carbon– and gas-forming additives, and an aqueous dispersion of synthetic resin. Once applied and dried, under fire conditions the paint creates an insulating, foamed carbon layer that halts the ignition of polymer insulation at an early stage and prevents flame spread across the protected surface.

  • Fire-resistant sealing of service penetrations through walls and floors for metallic pipes made of steel, cast iron, and copper 
  • Fire-resistant sealing of service penetrations through walls and floors for metallic pipes with combustible and non-combustible insulation 
  • Fire-resistant sealing of service penetrations through walls and floors for cables, cable bundles, and cable trays
