mcr PS-25 Intumescent Wraps 

mcr PS-25 firestop wraps are made from flexible intumescent thermoplastic strips. When exposed to temperatures above 140°C, the material expands and seals the opening left by the burned-out installation. 
 The wrap is supplied as a 30 m roll of intumescent material for on-site preparation to the required pipe diameter.

Application

Fire-resistant sealing of penetrations through walls and floors

  • Combustible pipes up to Ø 250 mm (PVC-U, PVC-C, PE-HD, PE, ABS, SAN+PVC, PP-R) 
  • Non-combustible pipes (copper up to Ø 42 mm, steel up to Ø 100 mm) with combustible insulation in combined penetrations 

Features

Classified EI 120 when installed in rigid walls ≥ 100 mm thick, made of reinforced concrete, aerated concrete, solid brick, hollow or perforated brick, with a density ≥ 600 kg/m³. 

The same EI 120 fire resistance is achieved when installed in rigid floors ≥ 150 mm thick, made of reinforced concrete or aerated concrete, with a density ≥ 600 kg/m³.
