mcr Tecwool F spray-applied system is used for the fire protection of steel structural elements (open and closed profiles), reinforced concrete elements, slabs, composite slabs on trapezoidal sheets, and beam-and-block slabs.
Belongs to the group of lightweight fireproof sprays, characterized by low density of the sprayed mortar.
Intended for general building structures where increased fire resistance of elements exposed to standard fires is required. Provides steel structural elements with a section factor U/A = 495 m⁻¹ with fire resistance classes from R30 to R240.
Excellent fireproofing combined with good thermal insulation – thermal conductivity λ = 0.061 W/mK. Due to its very good sound absorption properties, mcr Tecwool F can also be used as acoustic insulation in rooms requiring reverberation time correction (e.g., conference rooms, lecture halls, concert halls).
Not suitable for unprotected outdoor elements exposed to direct weather (rain, snow). mcr TECWOOL F mortar is designed for indoor use, in Z2 category environments.
